Members Meeting & AGM Wrap Up

60+ members attended the October Member Meeting and Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Brisbane on Friday 18 October 2024 with guest speakers providing an informative and engaging session.

Members left with plenty of valuable takeaways from the day from:

  1. Zane Russell of the Queensland Building and Construction Commission (Non-conforming Building Products – An introduction)
  2. James McIntosh of McIntosh Specialised Consulting (Empower Your Team with The Good Day Operating System)
  3. Anthony Collier of Australian Made Campaign Ltd  (Australian Advantage)

WSAA CEO Wesley Fawaz provided a snapshot on early progress against the 2024-2027 strategic plan and WSAA President Gilbert Da Silva chaired the AGM which included a special resolution to adopt the new WSAA Constitution which was passed by the members.  The AGM also provided the opportunity to thank retiring directors Peter Meyer, Frank Cairns and Geoff Turner for their commitment and tenure on the Board of the association.
